The Importance Of Having A Healthy Diet & Balanced Meal Plan

Eating well is beneficial in protecting yourself from the viruses and bacteria you come into contact with regularly. 
  4. Disease Prevention – Your body is an amazing machine and when it’s fueled well, it not only protects you and recovers well, it can also prevent disease from starting. Most disease in your body stems from inflammation which is caused by many factors. One critical factor in the production of inflammation in the body is what you eat. Highly processed foods, those high in sugar, with artificial ingredients or loaded with chemicals, all increase inflammation in the body which in turn increases your risk of developing various chronic illnesses and diseases.
  5. Improved Mental Health – When your body is functioning better, it is better able to handle the stresses of daily life. Your nervous system can return to a calmer state faster and you generally feel better about yourself and your health when you eat well. Research has also shown that eating a well balanced diet can improve your gut health as well. Since many of the hormones that affect your mental health are made in the gut, anything that improves your gut health will also improve your mental health.

The benefits of eating well are clear, but it can be challenging for many reasons to plan and make a healthy, well balanced diet.
